Minnesota Business Magazine recognizes APEX for “setting the standard for employee happiness”

St. Paul, MN, April 23, 2012 —APEX, a technology leader in print and online billing services, was honored as one of the “100 Best Companies to Work For in 2012” by Minnesota Business Magazine in the mid-sized business category. The publication honors companies for “setting the standard for leadership, benefits, best work environment, innovative training programs and employee happiness.” APEX provides a majority of Minnesota’s largest healthcare organizations with third-party billing services and serves clients throughout the central United States.

The awards were determined through independent research commissioned by Minnesota Business Magazine and conducted by Gilmore Research, which gathered information from thousands of employee satisfaction surveys over phone and mail beginning in February 2012. “It is truly an honor to recognize leaders in the Minnesota business landscape who strive to raise the bar in employee satisfaction,” stated Kate-Madonna Hindes, Editor-in-Chief of Minnesota Business.

APEX and other winners will be honored in an event June 4 at the Depot Renaissance Hotel in Minneapolis. A list of winners appears in the awards announcement on the Minnesota Business Magazine website.

Said Brian Kueppers, founder and CEO of APEX, “We’re incredibly honored to be listed among the best companies to work for in Minnesota based on surveys of our own employees. From the beginning, we’ve built this business on the strength of technological innovation and relied on our outstanding employees to provide unparalleled service to our clients. Employee well-being both on and off the job is crucial for creating a positive environment for everyone, so we can better serve our clients, communities, and members of the APEX team.”

APEX has previously been honored regionally for its innovative employee wellness programs.

Within the past six months, APEX has also been awarded the Minnesota High Tech Association’s Technology Services Award, recognizing the company’s unique proprietary technology platforms, and recognized for standout growth by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal on its “Fast 50” list of fastest-growing companies.
